  3. Hi Daniel,
    I’m also very keen on getting onyx for my mac. Can you please e-mail me too when it’s out? It looks like a very ‘clean’, nice program!

  4. Hey Daniel,

    This is the shit. Seriously, as a flash developer myself I’m floored at how you’ve managed to do this. Anyhow, not to get side-tracked, but my USB webcam causes actionscript errors. (See below)

    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
    ArgumentError: Error #1063: Argument count mismatch on onyx.content::ContentCamera$iinit(). Expected 4, got 3.
    at onyx.layer::Layer/::_onContentStatus()
    at flash.events::EventDispatcher/flash.events:EventDispatcher::dispatchEventFunction()
    at flash.events::EventDispatcher/dispatchEvent()
    at onyx.content::ContentLoader/::_dispatchContent()
    at onyx.content::ContentLoader/load()
    at onyx.layer::Layer/load()
    at ui.layer::UILayer/load()
    at ui.window::Browser/::_onDragDrop()
    at flash.events::EventDispatcher/flash.events:EventDispatcher::dispatchEventFunction()
    at flash.events::EventDispatcher/dispatchEvent()
    at ui.core::DragManager$/::_onObjectUp()

    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

    Please let me know if you can do anything about this, as I’ve got a show this weekend where I’d like to showcase your software at The Chelsea Room in TO, Canada.

    Thanx man, keep on rockin’!

  5. Same problem as JR - reported it on the project’s bug tracking system.

    Happens with both a webcam and with a tv capture card.

    I wonder how will I be able to save the result, with live content coming from the card… but, hey, first thing: get rid of this bug.

    Otherwise - well done!
    Thanks a lot!

  6. Got this error on your apollo ap, after clicking the “save mix” button:

    ArgumentError: Error #2004: One of the parameters is invalid.
    at Error$/throwError()
    at flash.filesystem::File/set nativePath()[C:\Documents and Settings\acrorel\Local Settings\Temp\aslibc-28157\File.as:629]
    at flash.filesystem::File$iinit()[C:\Documents and Settings\acrorel\Local Settings\Temp\aslibc-28157\File.as:267]
    at file::ApolloQuery/save()
    at onyx.file::FileBrowser$/save()
    at ui.window::SettingsWindow/::_mouseDown()

    By the way, isn’t the crossfader working?
    Thanx

  9. Great stuff!

    Could you add a way to render/export full .flv movies so i can convert them to quicktime, burn on DVD etc? Without using a scan converter.

  10. great stuff.

    Could you add some interesting text tools/filters so that you type in the text and then it can fade in/rotate/flash/rotate in 3D - anything cool.

    Keep up the good work.

  11. Hi guys, I was hoping to use this software with some midi equipment, will midi be incorporated at all?

    If not then could you possibly point me in the direction to where I could find the relevant code, the closest thing i could find was VLIGHT CTRL, but it seems that the website has not been updated for a long time and perhaps that project is dead…

    Some help would really be appreciated, I dont want to have to make do with ARKAOS!! lol

    Kind Regards

    Stuart
